Leaving feedback for items purchased on RFF

I'm pretty sure I stumbled across a place to leave feedback in a classifieds deal, and I just bought a lens from a fellow RFF'r- How do I leave feedback for that transaction? Thanks..
 
- go to Classifieds

- then go to "Member List"

- then find the particular person

It isn't as easy as ebay.

Glad I asked the first question- now I'm learning more about this place- Didn't even know I had a user ID. Where do you find that????
 
I really dont see a point in that "member feedback thread" - as it is impossible to find feedbck on any given person, unless you are willing to read each and every post!. Not sure why people evenbothr with it.
However leaving feedbackwhere it is supposed to go, i.e. here :

is the best way. Well, it's supposed to be the best way - as it is hard to find at times. I wis we had the same system like on ebay - feedback next to the ID/name and you could click on it to read the feedback. Would make things much easier.
 
I agree, I wanted to provide feedbacks to some RFF members I dealt with but sadly I can't seem to repeat what I did before. Can it be made easier by the mods?
 
The classifieds has a separate member's search function here. You can search for members and leave feedback for them

Only works for members with a currently listed ad though..

There is a thread search function in the top right corner.

Says "Search This Thread".
 
Yes, member feedback thread is uuuuseless. I left some feedback there to be a nice guy and some members left some for me, but if i was reference to that i couldn't.
Search function needs a fixing.
 
Yep I'm in agreement here a couple of things that could be improved on this site are the classifieds feedback system and the search engine. I'm sure both are being looked at being improved in future upgrades.
 
Found this old thread about giving feedback for buyers/sellers using the Classifieds. I would like give/receive feedback in relation to items sold here recently, but I don't seem to be able to find how to do that once the ad is removed. I see this has been a problem since at least last year.
Has this been dealt with now? And if so, could somebody knowledgable explain how to do this?
 
Went through the same issue when I bought my R-D1 here, I just went and left feedback in the User Feedback sticky at the top of the this section.
