Leaving this open to interpretation but how about pictures of "Grass"

Someone had to do this, so let it be me. Buying a pound, 1971.
Strictly as a micro-economic and inflationary analysis study: 🤑 💹

What is a pound of weed going for these days? Back in the day, a 'nickel' bag' was a nickel ($5) and a 'dime' bag was a dime ($10).

Also, it is rumored that fold-out album covers were designed to aid in the elimination of seeds from one's stash :)

To be honest, I don't smoke (except for an occasional quality cigar) but the new stuff I smell while driving (yes people here in my state drive and smoke) smells awful and skunky. 🦨

More grass...

Grass to the left of you, reeds to the right, here I am.

My memory is pretty hazy on the subject (someone had to smoke that stuff!) but I think a pound was around $250. At $40/ounce, a small-scale seller could make around $400 profit from a pound. The small-scale seller was the young woman, my college girlfriend, and the guy on the left was her old friend who had driven a few pounds up from Texas.

Probably shot with my Mamiya-Sekor 500 DTL and a Spiratone wide-angle lens, on Tri-X, because who used any other film ever?

Heading back on a bike ride, looking down, I see what appears to be a baggie of pot.
I turn around, find it and sure enough its what I thought it was...about the size of a ping-pong ball...
I carefully pick it up and ride back to where there was a trash can with a cop sitting about 30' away...

Ah, The Gardner! No better place to spend a damp, cold Sunday in January. A fond memory of when I lived in New England.
