My "Slacker's brew" makes shooting lots of film very easy.
On this forum are guys that have been shooting for decades, and in my humble opinion shooting a lot for a long period of time is what gives these guys a sharp edge.
The thing with Acros and Diafine that is unbeatable is the lack of reciprocity failure that makes for outstanding results (perfect negatives) when shooting at night using a tripod and bulb exposures. With Diafine it is a match made in heaven.
Also the grain is almost none. I have to use an 8X lupe to see that the Tri-X grain is slightly larger.
It is at a point where I don't need a large format camera to get large format results on my 6x9 negatives.
All I need is Tri-X and Acros...

Yep Cal and even with my angst about Fuji the reciprocity of low/no light Acros is amazing. I have one more Diafine pack to use and I will short list Acros to use with it thanks for the heads up about that combo.
