Leica 1.25X Magnifier problem

Hello,

I'm new here, soo I should introduce myself. My name is Kevin, I've been a Leica M user for 2 years, I post the odd photo to flickr and I'm about to move to Singapore. ha-ha! sounds like Leicaholics anonymous...

Anyway, I have a small problem with the Leica 1.25 X magnifier I bought from my dealer in Hong Kong. After a couple of months of using it, I've noticed that the rubber eye-piece ring keeps slipping off. Is this a common fault easily remedied with adhesive or should I be bringing it back to the dealer for a replacement?

If it's better fixed at home, can anyone recommend a suitable adhesive and technique for sticking it in place. it's only a matter of short time before I lose the thing and become doomed to a life of scratched glasses.

I lost my little rubber ring after about three weeks. I can't be bothered to replace it, but a drop of superglue would probably fix it forever.
