So, is a lot of focus breathing normal for this lens? I really hope I did not get a bad one on ebay.

Ive had my M6 and 50 1.4 ASPH for about a month. Just got my shots back and I can say this lens is epically good.
This photo doesn't really show the capabilities of it but its the only thing I have uploaded so far.

Hi guys, I'm brand new to the forums and Leicas. Been a professional commercial fashion photographer for the last 8 years or so, started in NYC and currently run my own ad agency in Shanghai China. Been working with all digital SLRs and medium formats throughout my career, which started as a hobby and was lucky enough to turn it into a profession.
Doing all commercial work really drains you're desire to actually pick up the camera on the days off, so last year I bought a Hasselblad 500cm to spice things up to try to get me shooting for fun again. Love my 500cm but it is massive and not really a suitable travel camera, so picked up my dad's old minty fresh Canonet QL19 from 30 years ago and loved the form factor of the RFs! Recently decided to pick up a mint condition M6 titanium + Lux 1.4 asph and love the thing! It's so crisp and sharp that I feel it looks more like digital than a 20 year old film camera... much crisper than the canonet!
Anyway, here's 2 images from my first roll through my newly acquired camera. Tmax400 self developed in R09 one shot 1:50 @ 13mins and scanned with a 5d2 + 100mm macro. Hope you guys like it! The full resolution is amazing from this lens+camera, can see every single grain perfectly when scanned with the DSLR and full size is very similar to a 24mp DSLR file... kind of wished I went with the pre-asph or a summicron so it's not as sharp and look more like actual film haha. Will post more once I run some color film through the camera.

Fantastic image Jackson! Please give some background story to that one!
Also - how are you scanning your negs with the DSLR?
Welcome!
