Looks like one of those cheap crappy loupes with a Leica logo stamped on it. All the good loupes I have or have used let you focus.

Do you mean it is not a product of Leica and is a fake Leica product? Thanks.

I have no idea. Leica has "official" Leica keychains, why not loupes. I just think it's more of a trinket or souvenier than a loupe for serious use. But if you own it, you'll know more about the optical quality than I could possibly know from your photo!

Leica used to make a high quality metal bodied 5x loupe with attached slide holder. AFAIK it's no longer in production.

It looks like the Canon one I have the kind you used to be able to buy from a box by the cash register for $9.95 when the Canon ones behind the counter sold for $129.95. Mine (that I got second hand) is made in China, not Japan and I'd be super surprised if that one was any where Germany unless you are buying it there.

I do not own any one of it but just find one on ebay. I just want to know whether it is fake or not.

depends on what you mean by fake?
It sure looks like those cheap next-to-the-cash register loupes to me. But it could easily be an "official" Leica authorized product - does not mean it's any good as loupe.
