After I posted my last message, I had a nagging feeling that I should check my filter size. On the B+W filter box is 34mm x 0.5mm pitch. So, that is the correct size.
Depends on the mechanical condition and whether you actually want a 90mm lens. But you could get a very clean, coated, post-war chrome Elmar for about $120-150.
Three weeks later--for those still looking or considering buying:. a clean example from 1950 silver just sold on e-bay for 185.50 USD. I wasn't willing to pay that so I let it go. There are so few good ones out there and demand is fairly brisk.
Last week I got a Canon 100mm f3.5 with case and finder, in like new condition for $157 from e bay. Finally got some sun today so I finished a roll with it and look forward to seeing the results tomorrow. Joe
