Leica CL and Canon 50/1.2

You are welcome! The 50/1.2 is a great lens, and probably gets a bum rap from using it without a proper CLA. My lens is built out of two incomplete parts lenses.

I am sure someone already asked this but I can not find any info.
I have Canon 5d and some nice EF lens (and Leica CL with nice lens as well).
Is there a way (adapter exists?) to use Canon EF lens on M mount body like Leica CL?

Ray said it already. Focusing wide open will be problematic.

I use a Canon 50/1.2 on my R-D1 with its equally short RF base, and it actually focuses quite well wide open, but it's better at close focus distances. It's 20 ft. and out where the short-based finders start missing with fast glass.

You're better off starting a new thread on this topic--the lens being discussed here is a rangefinder one, not an SLR one, and not many people will see your query.

It mounts and works with my CL. The rear element does not potrude further than the mount, so there is no danger to the camera, or any other camera.
