Leica CL take-up spool Hack/repair

I got a CL with only one tooth on the white part of the take-up spool. I found an available spool on eBay but it is for an "R" series. the white part looks similar, is it inter-changeable or way different? (just the white part)

Curious to hear how hard it is to change the spool as a DIY project. Mine has the same issue and I've been using the doublestick tape method....

I've read its fairly simple, I just need to know if this part will fit. I can't find the correct part without buying a whole other camera
