I found this camera for sale the serial number is 247631, i looked it up and got to see that it's a IIa model, but this model has a wood finish to it and i can't seem to find any picture or information on this camera..
So my question is, is this a rare camera or is it comun?

Thanks

Hi,

A link to it would be helpful and we can then tell you more.

The S/No suggests a 1937 IIIa to me and so it would have a slow speed dial on the front at about 11 o'clock.

There were lots of versions of the wooden Zorki fakes. Here's one in shiny chrome that supposedly celebrated the 40th anniversary of the KGB. It is serial #25- I wonder how many #25's were made?

As many as they could pound out. That really is a bit extreme on the chrome.

Hi,

But would they bother making them if they couldn't ell them? They need extreme/gullible buyers and I wonder where most of them live...
