Leica i9

Can I get an iPhone with a Mandler designed lens?

It's not a real rangefinder...

I heard the high ISO isn't so good...

Man, I'm sick of digital... when's the film version coming out...

(sorry)

Huh? Is this 24 days late?

Yeah, looks like the same Adobe Illustrator work for that "digital roll of film". At least the other one had a better eye. Obviously the Apple/Leica bashers don't like details. Those cost money. Whadda I know.

This one doesn't do anything for me.

"If the best camera is the one that you have on you, then the better camera is the Leica i9 concept."

If I care to take good pictures, I carry my camera with me when going out. If I don't care to take good pictures, I just use the camera on my phone. Even if I were to use this gadget, I wouldn't want to leave it on the phone due to its size.. so in the end, I'm still carrying this gadget separately, like a camera.

I'm wondering if the target market is for those people who have iPhone and a P&S cameras.. in which case, it may make more sense, and that's a big maybe...

This "protective case" would cost more than the phone?

I wouldn't use that even if they gave me one for free. Sorry but I don't like it at all. For $1200 I'd just get a D-Lux 5 instead.

For $1200, I would just get a me a Ricoh GXR setup or Fuji X100.
I'd say a reasonable price for this to be marketable would be about $500.

Finally, I can make calls with a camera to my ear, instead of taking pictures with a phone!

Oh yeah, sweet innovation, here I come...
