I thought NYC was entirely gentrified these days, all clothes stores and coffee shops.

Trouble is there's so many things you'll not discover without a film in it, like the take-up spool's clutch slipping and so on.
Buy cheap by all means but then get it checked and overhauled. Also with RF's you usually have to have the entire camera stripped down and then re-assembled. That's what costs the money.

If I am buying something to put on a shelf and admire I am happy with Ebay. If I am buying a lens or body to actually use I have to see it in the flesh first.
In days gone by when things on Ebay were cheap one could take a risk but it is not worth it now.

Going to get started developing b&w film soon. Buying TriX 400 to test out both cameras / 25mmm / 35mm lenses.
Interested in shooting 1/2 ASA - Rate film @ half ISO ex: 200 vs 400 - expose for shadows - 2 to 3 stops overexposure.
- Developing Tank - holding 2 rolls or 1?
- Developer - D76 | Fixer - Kodak
