After 4 years use it's still my favourite travel Leica. That 80 year old design loaded with NPH still manages to blow the current 8MP Ricoh GRD out of the water. I'm inspired and proud to use the 'O' series, but that GRD is already on the want to sell list. Of course the M6 and NPZ is still the indoor choice.
But I think the same, that promoting tradition can only get you so far, and price rises and no digital M release would be a disaster of M5 proportions for Leica.
Availability of a well received digital M or RD-2 could re-establish volume confidence to buy additional M lenses - and probably also have the welcome effect of increasing sales of film MP/M7 bodies.

No doubt... and if Leica can propser just by selling equipment to the few thousands of us that frequent this forum, they will be all set. Alas, the real world is not so kind.
