Leica Lens on R3A

Hello,

Will a Leica Elmar_M 1:2.8/50mm work well on my R3A. Is there anything I should watch out for or understand in this possible relationship?

The current version can collapse fully but should be done so carefully. The original version can only collapse partially.

This is true. The R3a I have had been used previously with an original 50mm f2.8 Elmar. There are some rub marks on a 'stop' inside the film chamber, but no real damage has been done. The lens does not collapse fully, but can be done so 'safely' (i.e. no damge to lens elements or anything in the camera).
