Hey guys,
Recently got myself an xpro 1 as a second body with my x100. I also have a leica m4-2 so I'm just wondering if anyone's got any experience with leica adapters on fuji's? Are they any good? Which ones to look at? Exposures work through the lens?

Thanks in advance guys!

I almost exclusively use LTM / M lenses on my X-E1 (I don't own any native lenses) and no complaints. Aperture Priority metering works fine, and I find the EVF is bright enough that I can leave the lens stopped down to f/5.6 or f/8 and the finder doesn't get dim at all. Fuji's implementation of focus peaking is not great, be prepared to zoom in for precise focusing (or scale focus). Any inexpensive adapter from EBay will work if you can tolerate a bit of wiggle in the mount; if you can spend more, Cameraquest sells higher-quality adapters.

I have a Novoflex adapter which was expensive but works perfectly. Infinity focus is spot on and the mounts are machined very accurately. I had to return a Metabones adapter which was way too tight, to the point where it distorted the lens mount. The Fujifilm adapter will allow you to make in-camera adjustments for vignetting etc. but it doesn't work with all lenses (like my 35 'cron V4) and I think I read somewhere that infinity focus is off. I travelled in Laos for a month last Xmas with just the 35 'cron on an X-E1 and really enjoyed it. However, I have found that, although the viewfinder is bright enough, you do need to stop down to reduce the DOF for accurate focussing. I zone focussed most of the time for landscapes and street shots.

cheers.
