Leica M Monochrom: best pics

Awesome set as usual, this one is my fav! Happy holidays.

Yet another interesting photo, Michael, with the eye drawn immediately to the distant figure coming down the ramp on the wrong side. :) I've seen that our habitual "handedness" for vehicle traffic carries over to pedestrian walkways as well.

Thanks, Nigel... Yes, that's why I noted that habit seems to carry over to pedestrian traffic too. :)

The oddest situation is in the US Virgin Islands, where the vehicle steering wheel is "as normal" on the left side but they also drive on the left side of the road. Very weird, and nerve-wracking on blind left curves!

Hi everyone, wish you all a happy and inspiring new year!

Here a few shots from Stuttgart and Berlin, Germany. I first time tried zone focussing – after almost one year with the Monochrom.

Happy 2014 and good to be back on this thread!

I enjoyed the last few pages, devoured in one sitting. Some lovely images, and Dave, I'm always a fan of your subjects, execution, and blacks. (Great to see you back posting MM files!)

Here are three frames taken around Xmas with the 21mm Super Elmar in Genoa, Italy:
