Klaus, love the first shot! The shadow makes it, I think.

Thanks, I did not see the shadow during the panning of the shot, just later in post processing. The area of the swings is illuminated from the ceiling and that gives a nice shadow below.

His expression in that second one looks like one he will carry in to adult years. Thanks for posting. these are great! A lens not often scene as well. Kudos !

The images in this thread are getting better and better as people refine their post processing of the MM's files I've noticed.
Dave's images in particular are really hitting the spot for me.

Thank you Andy and Dave. I find the lens works well outdoors with a fast moving boy.

The range of the monochrom is wonderful. Highlights are blown some but the photo still works because of the range. I don't believe my M9 would have saved this shot. Mid day very bright sun in Arizona, playground was under a awning. 135mm Telyt-M APO

Actually 'twas my first serious attempt to shoot Filipinos watching a Manny Pacquiao boxing match. It is almost like a national holiday whenever there's one. Unfortunately for the Philippines, Pacquiao lost...

These are great. A view in on an unknown world.

I think you're having a blast with the 135, the photos show.
Nice everyone
Both are nice! 1st one - the composition is a winner. 2nd one - that stare gives the portrait an extra kick.
