Very Nice! Are you finding you have a favorite lens? Also are you using a filter?

JIm

Jim, thanks for your kind words, they are appreciated.

I do not own a MM as of this time, perhaps in the future after making a decision on how much gear I would have to sell to raise the capital. I had the opportunity to borrow a camera from the Leica Rep for an hour a couple months back. The lens I had with me was the 35 lux and did not use a filter.

I only recently have gotten a chance to process the files using Ps6 and NIK software.

Love the grain like noise in the first one Ashwin. Nice set.

So busy with work I haven't had a chance out get out in the last few days. Its kill'n me to.

@Ashwin - the "Fuel" shot has wonderful bokeh, what lens did you use?

@Carsten - the Nocti's rendering is on a different league, but I think you did a good job capturing her smile.

@Vince - getting warmed up with the monochrom?

@jcrutcher - the smile of Jameson is priceless!

Carsten, I think, I have seen this portrait before - it is very beautiful! Wonderful expression and great look with the 50/1.

Yes, slowly getting more used to it. My big problem right now is putting myself in situations that enable me to use the darned thing!

My wife and I went out for brunch this morning, and thought I'd take the little beast along...

Mates, isn't it fantastic, we can do this (10000 ISO) now with a M digital?

I mean with the M8 and M9, a film M with pushed Tri-X @ ISO 3200 was my low light camera and I loved Tri-X for this but hated when a roll turned out not quite pushed enough .

Now with the Mono there is a camera, that really eclipses the possibilities of film - this for me is the biggest news about the Mono.

Great shot Dave btw ;-)
