Mates, isn't it fantastic, we can do this (10000 ISO) now with a M digital?
I mean with the M8 and M9, a film M with pushed Tri-X @ ISO 3200 was my low light camera and I loved Tri-X for this but hated when a roll turned out not quite pushed enough .
Now with the Mono there is a camera, that really eclipses the possibilities of film - this for me is the biggest news about the Mono.
Great shot Dave btw ;-)
Couldn't agree more. I can shoot action on hte street at f/8 and 1/500 of a second. Freeze the action and have DoF so hyper focusing is a lot easier.

A few from the weekend:

Lamborghini Gallardo - side by teknopunk.com, on Flickr
The Gallardo was parked on a pitch black lonely backyard - shooting ~ISO3200 and 1/4sec was the only way, I could get some shots. I would have shot this on film or a Nikon body in the past ;-)

Whatever
In the middle of doing a food shoot at my house, and I thought I'd take some 'prep' shots with the Monochrom.
Not much in the way of post-production (they could probably stand a bit of tweaking), and no retouching, all shot at ISO 1000:

More to come!

airfrogusmc, Dave, Dirk and Vince all nice stuff. Vince I can't wait to see the final food product, you left a lot to our imagination..haha.
Off to San Francisco today with M7, M9-P and M-mono, since it's raining and clouding I'm thinking the mono will get a workout, can't wait.

I'll post a few food shots when we're all done -- they were done with my D4, though!

Dirk, the tonality is very nice. I like the first one best. Thanks for sharing.

Klaus, i like the play between the shadows of the branches and the geometrics of the window.

Thanks Dave, I'll post some more in my gallery 24hrs later, I took a couple of shots from different viewpoints. Some put more emphasis on the reflections on the windows. I'm glad you like it.
