These photos form a project that I did documenting the situation of the Bedouin of Israel's Negev desert. Thousands live in unrecognised 'villages' (loose communities of extended families) spread throughout the desert. They lack the most basic services and the state is trying to move the population en-masse to cities and official villages.
It was entered for an international photography prize. It didn't win.
I travelled with my MM and M9 - an eye-opening experience. After converting to BW, the MM files were much nicer to work with, and much more forgiving.
