Leica M Monochrom: best pics

Love that entire area. And the ones at the station were maybe in Las Vegas NM?

If you get a chance I would highly recommend the high road to Taos from Santa Fe and stop for lunch at Rancho de Chimayo and check out El Santuario de Chamiyo.

Great work Vince....Do I see a book?

The station is in Lamy, just southeast of Santa Fe. There was an article in the NY Times this past week about the Southwest Chief, and I thought it would be a good place to visit (it was!).

Don't know about a book -- some of the photos are hopefully going to end up as being part of my series Curriculum Vitae. I felt like I'd been going through a bit of a 'creative funk' (might just be the February 'blahs'), and my wife graciously allowed me to come out here for a 9-day wander. I'm calling it a necessary period of 'woodshedding'.

So I'm heading to Vaughn today, eventually making my way out to Lordsburg, up to Gallup and back to Albuquerque.

Vince I was hoping to get out to Northern New Mexico over the Christmas holidays but work got in the way.....

I could spend a lot of time out there for sure. I haven't been back there in a couple of years.

Thanks Vince and the cow shot is terrific. That strong line from the power lines leads to the cow. I also really like the portrait of the man with the map and the arrow (Mike). The processing also fits nicely with the work.
