I'm convinced that Guinness is only at it's best in the country where it's made. It just tastes different to me. Maybe it's a freshness thing, dont know, but it's distinctly different. I tested this immediately after returning from our trip. As for temp, cant say I ever had room temp Guinness anywhere in Ireland (or the UK for that matter), but it definitely wasnt as cold as they serve beer here in the US, which is a good thing. Too cold \ warm does most any beverage a disservice.
And I might be missing the sarcasm\joke, but Slainte is "Cheers!" in Irish 🙂

The name of the beer I had is called the Moo Lab from Platt Park. I seriously doubt they distribute it anywhere. It's a one time special that I think is just in the tap room. The Left Hand Nitro Stout is really a good example of that one though. Edit: Just be sure to follow the instructions on the bottle to "Pour Hard".
