Fun shot you have there, John. Fortuitously timed so all the vehicle / pedestrian traffic still shows up against the asphalt. Love how crisp that all is. Usually turns to muck or total white here pretty quick.

Contributing another one. You all have me looking out for peeling paint with some of the previous posts.

Thank you, Phil. It was through a dirty window with raindrops and interior reflections, but I got right up against the glass to reduce that stuff. The file was pretty flat, but the structure slider works wonder.

Yours is wonderful subject, composition, and processing. Really enjoyed seeing it.

Getting ready to embark on a 25-day road trip from here to New Mexico and up to Seattle for the opening of 'Mapping the West' at the Leica Store in Bellevue, WA on April 8th.

Found this one among the mix from November's photos -- couldn't think of a better name for this shot than 'Mapping the West' itself.

Fascinating shot and I think it represents the wide wide west perfectly. Like in an old master painting where a lot of dark tones had been used to highlight (no pun intended😉) a lone lightsource, this single object becomes more powerful by the wide open space. That the horses are standing besides the house adds some still life aspect, although they are alive.
Thanks for sharing.
