My MM should have arrived in NJ yesterday and will hopefully take it's place on a workbench there before too long! In the meantime, I have been enjoying many of the images here on this page of the thread (too many to mention).
But I will add that I enjoyed your series sdotkling and hadn't seen your posts here before. Then scrolling saw that same image by shiro_kuro that you later would pick out of the boy framed! I also was really struck by that one
I've been enjoying shooting mostly film that has been in the cool of a closet since about '03 and hope to process some B&W here before too long while my Leica gets a new heart.

I really like this one John, its clean and simple and yet there's something about it that I can't stop looking at.
Thank you. Much appreciated. - John

Good observation, Erik. Fits right in. I'd say the answer is, "Pretty far." Relatively effortless filmless film.

Very nice Erik, I think the Monochrom is about going back to the future, or maybe forging a new past! Without factoring in for inflation on price of gear

Thanks, David. I've only recently jumped to my first digital Leica, after many years of either shooting film in my vintage Ms, or hating every digital camera I ever bought before. My M9M is so close in feel to my film cameras, that I can admit that m-a-y-b-e I can live without a darkroom someday. (Or at least save it for the Medium format stuff.)

It took me a while to come round but I did. And M9 MM great cameras. Once you get immersed in digital, and want a smallish camera for color, try the X100S T or F!
I am enjoying film again but limit my processing now to film, and when I can get to it. I send the color film out.

First proper outing with the CV 21/4. It has a lot going for it, I can't really complain about much tbh.

I was wiped out all holiday weekend with a major cold, and by Monday had a pretty itchy shutter finger. i finally dragged myself to the back yard yesterday for a few shots. Feeling much better today.
