Leica M Monochrom: best pics

realized today at an event 50mm is no longer my way of seeing...

Helen, Couldn't you have posted this ^^^ in Figurative Symmetry!?

David

Point taken, giggles....

I probably should not have even posted it. More so in Today's World of hyper criticism, cancel culture and fear.
Just found it interesting to see a woman baring her Breasts and carrying a Megaphone to draw attention and make her Voice heard (though I never saw her use the megaphone)

No, it's fine you posted it...well, them. You're not cancelled here! I think the 50mm focal length even in busy places can be good, seems to have worked here, but then I am relatively late to using 50mm for this sort of event.

Vince, one could teach a composition class with your photo. Really wonderful. And I'm always impressed that your processing is so consistent and recognizable.

John

Many thanks John - of course it’s always nice to have good subject matter to start with :)

I was glad to find out that my cancelled January 2021 artist-in-residence program in New Mexico has been rescheduled for January 2022, so I'll be out there for a month. Who knows, I may in fact have a chance to conduct some kind of a class - wouldn't that be scary :)

Beautiful! All the Monochroms render metallic and reflective surfaces beautifully. When I first got the MM I noticed the images looked a lot like Agfa Scala, which rendered metallic objects with a delicate grace. The Monochrom(s) also do this when you get it right. This is spot on.
Marty

Wow, ever so kind, Thank You Marty , much appreciated !
Indeed, the monochrom(s) are truly special~
