Thanks Adam ;-)
Here is another one from the same day - a friend, trying out my 203Fe with 110/2 in the Peace Hotel.
It is now photography forbidden in the Peace Hotel - can you imagine?

Not surprising. I thought all "freedom of expression" activities were forbidden in China?

No, I think that has nothing to do with that, but instead just an unfortunate ruling of the people, who run the place.
You can imagine a combination of really unfortunate things like hordes of tourists, storming the newly opened Peace Hotel with tripods and gear, leading to a decision made.
It is just, that the local personnel, to enforce such rules have no training and no manners, how to correctly approach potential guests and customers regarding this.
In the end, of course pictures were taken, but not because of wanting to offend or provoke, but because a portrait or the capture of a moment in a social get together is just that - natural.

Do portraits require eye contact? If so... my apologies for the photos that aren't considered portraits!

Great moments with the Jupiter Patrick !
I like your portrait of the shop - you make that Canon really sing!
Edwin, nothing beats the look of TriX ;-)
Very well styled model - face, hairstyle, clothes, legs and her posture somehow fit wonderfully, I don't know, how to wrap it in words …
Here is another candidate for my dog project, which is ongoing for a few years now already, have to get some perspective, printing and playing around a bit, to get a feel of the status so far:
She was seriously nervous, jumping around, looking seriously dangerous - took me quite a few minutes, to get the right moment and have her lovely owner stay patient and willing at the same time ;-)

Thanks Dirk! that dog project seems interesting. Are you taking photos of people and their dogs? Seems like a great idea, my girlfriend owns a dog, she sometimes speaks as if owning a dog somehow gets you membership to some sort of dog owner's cult. The relationship between dog and owner would be interesting to see captured in a photo!
Edwin, the photos on tri-x look amazing, I love the feel tha tthe grain adds to it

Thanks Dirk and Patrick for your comments ! Yea, nothing beats tri-x ! I'm in love with this film but sadly the film price never stops increasing...
Dirk, your dog project sounds awesome, i have a dog at home as well, she was a stray dog, sneaked into my house compound, starved and scared, it was a rainy night...and we decided to keep her in the next morning...
And hope to see you shooting with your new old M2 BP soon ! The 2 photos were actually taken with the M2

this is my first post here. I just sold all of my Canon gear (5D Mark 2, L lenses and lighting) to jump into film. I'm 31, so the last time I shot film was high school. This is silly stuff from my first roll. Its going to take some practice to get really good and quick at rangefinder focusing. I'm already getting better at anticipating the correct shutter speeds. In short - its been really fun!
