i'm really happy with the 35 lux asph for a portrait lens.
i generally do that sort of thing with the noctilux, or 75'lux, or even the 90 pre-asph, but with the .7m close focus on the 35 asph it works quite well.

jesselirola.com is my site (music photography is my main gig, i do fashion week in NYC too. I'm trying to get to Milan, London, and Paris next year as well. it doesn't interfere with my music work, and i really enjoy the images and craziness)
