M-Hexanons 35mm 2.0, 50mm 2.0, 90mm 2.8
Very neutral lenses, allow for capturing both modern images and retro-looking shots by choosing different films. I use mine with Tmax 100, Tmax 400 and E100G. The occasional Fujichrome films as well.

Great M3 you got there, I like the 50mm 1.5 lens on it as well, don't think you'd need a flash with a lens like that!

Thanks, Johan...the M3 fits me very well and the Industar lens you sent me has just taken it's turn on the M3! When I finish the roll, I will post the results.

Both the Summarit and the Industar are just waiting for the next opportunity to get out and get some portraits. Cank't wait.

Thanks Gian! It's actually a self portrait. The inspiration for it definately stemmed from antique photographs and their poses as well as photographers like Alec Soth and Robb Kendrick.

I'm continuing the same idea of the form, structure, etc for a documentary/fine art series on my hometown that i'm working on. In 2000, the FBI rated my city as the no. 2 for highest crime rate in the u.s. Most recently, this past November, it was ranked in the top ten for highest crime per capita in the united states. I figured that since I would be visiting for a few weeks, I should start a long term project on the people who live and work in the city/surrounding areas.

So, the project is part fine art, part documentary, and part anthropological.


Anyway, you've got some beautiful portraits yourself, Gian. You are without a doubt a natural with the camera. I love keeping updated on your work.

It would be great to meet with you one day if I ever make it through Switzerland/Europe.
