Leica M - Post your Portraits

Now I see why you went back to Bangkok, Michael.:)

hahaha, yeah Mike, I am pretty happy these days in Bangkok....once I get my darkroom up and running, I will be able to print out some of my work from this part of the world....but as of lately, I have been photographing my girlfriend with some xp2 and just having the local lab do the scans ...anyways, thanks again for hooking me up when I was back in town.....

cheers, michael

Sunshine and her 93 year old grandmother Jessie telling a story of how in 1935, she witnessed the landing of the first transpacific flight from San Francisco to Manila. She still remembers the captain's name.

San Vincente del Mar, Galicia, Spain. December 2002.

I don't know this gentleman's name, but I've always liked the pic.

Cheers, Paul

i) Colin Powell -- I shot it a few years ago.

ii) Elijah -- photographed at Lafayette Park (across from the White House). Japanese tourist was a bonus.

Both shot with an M2.

Not quite sure what you mean by "alternative portraiture". I have done mainly informal work but also some formal pictures, though never in a studio setting. Here is a recent one of the grand-daughter of a neighbour. CV Apo Lanthar 90mm at f/3.5 on Leica M2, Fujicolor 400.
