Wow Rob, that is a dramatic change in appearance. You sure can grow a heck of a beard. You look more worldly with it, younger without.

Actually, this pic is from perhaps six or seven years ago, so I was younger. Thanks.

Early morning at the Holi Festival, Varanasi 2008. Just woke up after sleeping by the river with these guys. The same day we began a two week trek in the Himalayas. Leica M6 with Summicron 35.

portrait of my father (Leica M8, 35mm Summicron IV)
Hey gathigi - this one really pops!
Too bad about the unfortunate framing though (I guess, it was a "moment shot").
For this portrait, I would try to crop (1:1 or even a 2:3 vertical).
You got more frames?

Shot these recently after picking up my M8. Love how little post processing is needed compared with every other digital camera I have shot. All with the Summicron 35 or 50mm.

thanks chris7521, menos and f16sunshine!
chris, indeed the elmarits are nice. lovely handling, small size (~170 grams)and extreamly good IQ. "cheep" as well (at least for i leica lens!)
