Pirate--great photo--your GF is a beauty! From what I can see...:)
And--why why would you cover the Canon nameplate with an EOS strap?:)
Paul

Well, it's a Nikon, and the name plate is covered because it went to Iraq with me and all over Germany. Didn't want anyone getting any ideas....

The Canon strap is on it so they only see the Canon name and no one will steal it ;-)

Edit to add: I have more pics of her posted on page 93, but this was the most recent from a trip we made to Detroit. Originally I had the Nikon and was shooting digital for some school work, but she didn't care for the M2 so she traded with me (no, I didn't have a say in it....)

OK Pirate!
I went back to pg 93 and Emma is a real cutie!
So you covered the Nikon nameplate and used a Canon strap so "they" wouldn't get Emma--perfectly understandable! :)
Take care....
Paul

Beautiful! Wonderful portrait!
I can't help it, but there is nothing, I mean nothing, that looks better than a 50/1 on BW film!.

Haha - @ Pirate ;-)

Happy for you - my girls is not the slightest bit interested in photography.
I try to lure her into it, regularly having her critic my selects - the can be downright cruel :bang:

Thanks. We actually met in a photography class last semester. This is a relationship I'm very intent on making work till the end. Photography brought us together. One day I'll get her an M. Maybe I'll try to get her interested with my M2 ;-)

I don't mean to taint this thread, but here are the pictures (digital- mostly from her) from out Detroit outing:
