Leica M - Post your Portraits

I absolutely agree ;-)

I use a v4 too, as I was a bit chicken, when I bought mine and thought, the v4 would sell easier, should I not like it.

Well, I love and kept it, it is my most loved lens.

If you already know, that the Noct f1 is your lens, definitely go for a v3.
The v3 lens hood is soooo much better as a user.
Yes, it packs more bulky in the bag, but in fact, it protects the front a lot better, when throwing it in the bag or having it over a shoulder, when shooting another body.

Last time, I looked, they also were 500 − 1000 EUR less expensive, but this might not be true anymore with these crazy times regarding Leica glass.

GREAT ! and it's not an insult ! ;)
You said you have the Noctilux version 4, i plan to buy an used Noctilux on ebay, do you know if there are optical differences between versions ?

Thanks guys!!! Ver 4 is the version before the current 0.95. Understand there's no difference between ver. 2 - 4. Ver 1 is the rare 50 1.2. Personally I will either choose the slightly smaller E58 ver 2 (filters easier and cheaper to find) or ver 4 with the built-in hood. Prices have gone up in an insane way. Hope you find yours. Ebay may not be the best place to find. Try local stores or here @RFF for deals.

Most beautiful post in a loooong time here ;-)

What a lovely model and what great photographs you got out of her - wonderful!
Love that dreamy first shot and adore the second!

Dierk, great jazz photographs, but allow me, to say (this is very subjective, some like, some don't), that I feel about the 50 Lux ASPH and 75 Cron ASPH not being very nice to women. Especially the close up is quite "in the face", while I really like the first frame of Norma.

I think, these supersharp lenses are not flattering, but can be nicely tooled in a "documentary fashion", shooting people during conversations/ work, etc …

I didn't touch my 50 Lux for a long time because of these difficulties.
