With the exception of the lady in her parlour, the rest of your subjects all seem to be looking up. Is there a reason for that? Very nice work, by the way.
 
Cris, I like your portraits very much, but is everyone looking up because you told them to do so? Although in this last one you mention that he spoke no English.

Maybe it's your signature in portrait photography?

Thank you Ted, yes, i ask them to, tho not everyone reacts the same way, and that variety of emotion and interpretation, says something about the person to me. I wanted a project, something different from the usual street portrait, and was inspired by the reaction shot in cinema.

An example that not everyone you ask to look up, looks directly up. But i still enjoy the thoughtful appearance.
