I bumped into this thread and at beginning of it where are some portraits which are just astonishing for quality of work. Ten years later it is hard to believe it was taken this good with nothing but film M. "Unsurpassed" is the right word, I guess.

Beautiful photo! I much prefer the colour version where she is looking more at the camera.
Thanks - so do I - although I like the infinite layers of well almost distress in the earlier one. Look closely. They do make a good pair this way.
