If they're is grade to sell at these prices: Chapeau; meens that underestimate what we're doing'.
On the contrary prices too high : so quickly need to seal cheaper and brand image hit the ground. nothing worser for a company.

On the alert
Do the maths 16.6 euros = 5,500 (ish) M7's and MP's body only if that was all they sold. Include lenses and digi compacts -they are hardly selling any RF cameras. Canon and nikon sell hundreds of thousands of digital SLR's

I think we are seeing a double whammy here. While the rangefinder has been left behind, even after the so-called renaissance; there have been not only steady sales of digital SLRs but a massive explosion and expansion of the market: I see more and more, previously non-camera users, flocking to the DSLR. No longer the preserve of speciality camera stores, they are everywhere, from department stores to electrical. It feels as if the DSLR is the optical equivalent of the iPod as far as opening markets, filling them and pulling revenue out of nowhere are concerned. Conversely, however, the rangefinder market seems stagnant and few if any marketing campaigns try to draw new customers with the others seeming to confine themselves conservatively to loyal customers.

That is the big problem in not having new customers. Quality only means something to a certain point. After that people are looking for the latest cool thing. Make it affordable to the middle class because there are more of them then the rich collector. Look at the new Zeiss Ikon. Below 2K US and I have heard very good things about this camera so far.
