Leica M10 vs M9 baseplate

The Leica M9 baseplate comes with the tripod mount screwhole offset with respect to the centre of the lens.

The Leica M10 appears to have the tripod mount screwhole dead-centre of the lens centre.

Can any M10 owners please confirm?

The M9 baseplate carries the tripod mount. On the M typ 240 and later bodies, the tripod mount is in the body, the baseplate simply has a pass-through hole to it. As far as I recall, the M9 tripod mount was co-aligned with the lens axis, and I know the typ 240 and 262 are; it would be very surprising if the M10 wasn't.

looking at this old article, it looks like it is the same as the M240 where the tripod mount is in the body itself and centered with the lens

Yes M 10 tripod mount is in the camera body and center with the lens.

Thanks for the responses everyone. The reason that I ask is that the M9 has an offset, which means I need an adapter to allow me to use a panographic tripod adapter in order to avoid parallex error and resulting stiching problems
