Leica M2 - is this a good buy?

I have seen these pictures somewhere before, and it certainly wasn't on craigslist. Even the dropbox link was marked as "clicked before".

So, scam I would've thought.

Ya, I think this person posted this before for the same price but including the meter and the 2 spools. I'm pretty new with rangefinders and I'm trying to score a leica so I'm hoping that this would be a decent price? I wonder now if the link is a scam. I've contacted the person before via email and the old post disappear and now this link is back with the same pics. ???
 
If it's a legit offer, I would also add that $100 for the meter is reasonable, IF it's working and has been retrofitted for modern battery.

I know that some RFF members don't like this meter, but I do.

I appreciate all your responses but I think for the price difference I might just opt out for a M6ttl or a CL. and enjoy my Canonet for now until I come up with the funds (totally forgot about bill month). I'm not sure if you guys went thru what I'm going thru deciding and picking a great user RF. I'm actually just returning back to B/W and exploring more on street photog.

According to Kerrisdale Cameras used list as of April 11th they have a black M6TTL for $1399.50 and an M2 for $649.50. Not a bad price for an M2 if you have to factor in a CLA.
