Hey there everyone
I purchased a second hand Leica M6 recently and have noticed that when I look at the rangefinder field where you focus, the rectangle isn't clean cut all the way around, in the bottom right corner there is a little notch. Not sure if it's dirt or something else.
Also, in turning the dial to "B" my light metre still flashes if the shutter release is half pressed? I thought I read that B turns the lightmetre off?
Please excuse my ignorance on any of these questions if they are simple answers!
Thanks!

The rangefinder patch should be clear, it's probably a fleck of dust on the mask.
Both my M6's (early wetzlar) don't do anything when turned to 'B'.

Check if there is something blocking the small window on the left side (when you're facing the camera). As for the B setting, the meter should normally be off. Maybe it's a low battery warning?

Nothing in my M6 manual accounts for LEDs flashing on B setting.
