Leica M8: Poor mans M Monochrome?

It seems the OP abandoned his quest. He went the fuji route.
One realizes that it was all about a lack of budget to get the real thing and not really about the M8 suddenly becoming magically good.

Some from the M8. Haven't been able to try the MM though, and at current prices, will likely not be able to for a long time.
