leica MP w/ CV 40mm

Does any one have experience with a Leica MP(or M6) with a CV 40mm? Framelines?

I filed the lens mount to bring up the 35mm... works fine for me so far - no cut off heads/limbs. However, I tend to leave a little on the edges when framing anyway. Prior to filing, I shot a few with both the 50mm & 35mm framelines to get a feel for them (gaffer tape on the preview lever to hold the 35mm framelines) and chose the latter.

I use the 50mm framelines and it works for me. If there's any question, I can also use the preview lever, but I actually prefer the 50mm lines.

I filed the 40 to bring up the 35 framelines and it's wonderful. Just leave a couple milimeters or so of space from the edges of the frames when composing and you're good to go.
