The Leica One Challenge San Francisco
One Camera.
One Lens.
One 36 frame roll of film.

Join fellow Leica shooters in San Francisco December 10th for a challenging day of making the most of just one roll of film. We will also be visiting the SF MOMA museum to see the Ansel Adams exhibit and then we'll be grabbing a bite after the shooting session.

See the attached PDF or Word document for details. These events are being held all over the world on December 10th so join us and let the world see what you can do with the challenge.

If interested please RSVP before December 7th (kdemas@gmail.com). This event is just for fun, the only fee being the admission to the museum.

Join us!

Time warp

I must be in a time warp. The AA at 100 exibit was in 2001.

Steve,

Thank you for bringing this up. I went to the following link on the MOMA site, which listed the AA at 100 under "collections".

I will update the invitation to include the currently featured Photo Exhibit.

Thanks!

AA Exhibit.

AA Exhibit.

I only replied because I excitedly look up the SFMOMA site. I haven't seen a AA exhibit in about 25 years.

Kent, I re-arranged some time so now I can make it. How many RSVPs so far?

Oh, when I read the subject line, I thought everybody was going to have to shoot with a Leica One (I) replica!

Now THAT would have been a REAL challenge -- non-interchangeable f/3.5 lens, no rangefinder, no shutter speeds below 1/20...

Rich,

Great news, glad you can make it! Right now the group is still pretty small, under 10. There are a few people on the fence and I'm going to do a bit more marketing of the event this week to try to attract some more participants.

Even if the group is small, I'm looking forward to it. I think it truly will be a "challenge" with the 1-1-1 rule.

JLW- I have a "o" series replica that I shoot with occasionally. Maybe I should make this really challenging and break it out!
