Leica Q photos

Thanks for your comments Helen and Robert. The Q in certain situations makes things possible that I could not have captured with the M9. ISO12500 and 1/15s at F1.7 (the 2nd shot), that's pretty low light.;)And I have to admit composition is improved with live view especially with quick captures that would be lost with a rangefinder.

And To Think

And To Think

That my olde X-1 was an overlooked treasure!
Some very nice shots from a camera that requires (like the X-1) that the photographer find its groove.

It's not a one trick pony, but a go fer pony for a number of situations in its wheel house. Picking the right shots requires a bit of experience with the camera, and that's okay!

Klaus, the more I see your posts, the more I'm closer to a Q haha!

I should ask Leica for some incentive ...:D

As you can imagine the perspective was difficult from the seat I was squeezed in and the only chance for proper framing and getting through the mic and sheet music stands and cables, was to hold the camera on arms length to peek through all this, frame on the screen and move the focus spot to where is was needed. Given these circumstances, I am very happy how these shots turned out. And a full size file looks even better than the tiny posts.;)

You bet! Haha.

And with those awkward angles... I think it would even be more challenging when shot by an M, so the Q really fits in nicely don't you think?

In certain situations framing and composing in live view on the screen is just easier, or here I couldn't get behind the vf of the MM for some shots and just aiming w/o actually focussing properly...
