DPReview testing new Leica

The new budget M10 was spotted in the hands of one of DPReview's testing engineers:

Based on the photo leak, the M10C does not seem to have a shutter speed dial any more. Does it mean that it will have only "A" mode? Also, the new lens and viewfinder must have a new coating as I don't see any reflection. Very impressive. I am hoping the DIY approach will allow A La Carte sensor or swappable sensor between CCD and CMOS.

Yes, cute, but proper attribution should be cited for personal photos in the first place IMHO. I'll provide the link in this case.

Apologies ... no offence meant and I am a member of that forum. I just decided to resize them (down from 850) and relocate them to a different host for posting here.

They were actually emailed to me via the forum's usual member news email system this morning.

I don't know. I'm personally not a big fan of red dot.. I guess I'll have to wait till they release M10C-P and swallow 10% higher price tag...

+1 another vote for Miroslav Tichy's wonderful camera creations - each a work of art - and the results were sometimes remarkable! A pity he died recently - perhaps he could have designed the M10-Monochrom...

The M10 and same (copied) photo will be available soon on evilbay as a 100% genuine item from dealers in the Ukraine, Vietnam, and China, however, no returns accepted.
