No brainer, there's a used 35/2 Biogon w/hood in our classified in great shape for $600. No relation to the seller, but I'd grab this puppy up if you need a 35.

That is a good price. I've been trying to sell mine, but that price makes it hard.

I haven't used the Summicron but when I was deciding which 35mm lens I spent a lot of time looking at samples online. I wish I could have seen print samples but I didn't know anyone with the Biogon.

After looking at my budget I decided to buy a new 35mm Biogon f/2 and I have been very happy with it so far. Here's a few (small) samples in colour and black & white.

why dont you go for Voigtlander 35mm color skopar 2.5? great price, highly compact, and pretty sharp and flare resistant. I am very happy with it, I do street photography to...It fits to my pocket without difficult (my coat's pocket 🙂

I own a Biogon, and most all models Summicron, never shot a Summarit. My favorite above all is my 2.8 Summaron, small, ergonomic, and captures the slightest nuances of tonality and color far better than what's new on the market today.
