Leica Z2x - cable release? Remote?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum but it's the only one that seems to come close. 😕

Does the Leica Z2X allow the use of a cable release? If so, which one or what type?

Can it use a remote release? If so, which one or what type?

I just looked at a spec sheet on Amazon.com, and there is no mention of a cable and/or remote release for the camera.

There's some kind of port on the left bottom side of the camera.

And I seem to recall reading that one of the improvements the Z2X offered over the Minizoom was an optional cable release. Which would be nice so the long exposure capability could be accessed without having to hold a finger on the shutter button.

Grrrr . . . wish I had a manual!

The manual refers to an optional electrical cable release, order no. 18 540.

EDIT: Why not ask Leica in Solms for a manual. I once asked them for an R-E manual and they sent it immediately. The cost was around 10 EUR, IIRC.
