leica shop vienna

Hallo from vienna,
tghere are to shops - one for brand new things, the other one: second hand.
I have bought parts of my equipment in both shops and I never have had any troubles. all the things were in good conditions and the guys there do a really good shop. Although it seems they have prices a little bit above the average.
I only can recommand the guys there! - in case you need help, just send me a mail.
opposite to the leica shop is a second hand shop called camera31 - where you can get good stuff too - sometimes a little bit cheaper han the leica shop. have a look at www.camera31.com.

hope I could help

Has anyone any experience and/or comments in dealing with these people?
Thanks.

Yes. I bought a Plaubel Makine 67 from them a couple of years ago. It looked good, hardly used and worked perfectly. Apparently it had never really been used, but after a trip to the Middle East, the light seals melted and the notorious lightmeter cables failed. They took it back immediately, replaced, repaired and controlled at no charge. Now I have a virtually new folder. Prompt response and good service. They are also good at supplying hard to find items like Summicron-C accessories.

I've bought M6 and brand new Nokton from them. Everything went smooth and quick. Camera came with the battery what was a little surprise after dealing with keh.com. I'm very satisfied and could recommend them.

I have sold via their auctions but never bought from them. As a seller I have found their communication excellent and all financial dealings prompt and accurate.

They have access to collectors worldwide and therefore achieve premium prices on rare items. Would I buy from them? Yes, because I believe their descriptions to be accurate and their service good.

Is there anything more to say?

Nice shop, a tad expensive but they have a lot. I wish they gave a bit more info on used items though, I ordered a Hasselblad lens from them but they didn't say there was play in the focus action..

I recently bought an extremely hard-to-find diopter lens for my Konica Hexar RF from them. It seems these guys are quite good at coming up with rare items!

The item's price was rather high, but commensurate with the fact that it was an extremely rare article. The Leicashop guys are very friendly and competent. Delivery was very fast, packaging was good.

Summary: If you're looking for hard-to-find items, Leicashop is the right place to visit.

BTW, I have no connection with these people, I'm just a satisfied customer.
