BROWN strap on a BLACK camera? Even the leather protectors around the strap lugs look unused! Sorry, folks, I just don't understand the concept. Back when I plunked down my twenty-five bucks on a used 'vit (the going price at the time) the previous owner had nicely broken it in. Over the next decade or so I added my share of dings, dents, scratches, and brassing while getting lots of great photographs along the way.

Hang in there Al! The brown strap came with the camera--a recent aquisition. I have a BLACK wriststrap coming from Luigi one these days 🙂 Drop that IIIf in my pocket and some nice rub marks will replace that shiny paintjob in the years to come allowing that beautiful brass patina to shine through.
