I love things that come from out of the blue. Such as when kuvvy gifted me one of these intriguing machines. So I had to do a good test to show I am worthy of such a gift. I hope I pass muster, Paul

The lens caught the play of the cloud shadows on Ft. Lewis Mountain very well, along with the power lines, and radio antennae.

An orange filter is my favorite for getting good cloud detail.

Passage by br1078phot, on Flickr
Had to rotate this one to vertical.

Slope by br1078phot, on Flickr
Not much flare shooting into the sun, but then the big lens hood helps.

Water Passage by br1078phot, on Flickr
I didn’t notice any distortion from this lens.

At Death's Door by br1078phot, on Flickr
Just looking. Don’t plan on going through anytime soon.

Rest Awhile by br1078phot, on Flickr
Luckily, I was on another level, so I didn’t have to bend the old knees to get this shot.

Up A Level by br1078phot, on Flickr
Has sort of a castle rampart look to it.

Peaceful Feeling by br1078phot, on Flickr
At least I did after finishing the spotting job I had to do on this one.

I have a Lordomat buried somewhere in my storage unit. Having enjoyed these outstanding images, I must dig it out and run some film through it. Doubtful that I'd get anything that good though!...TW

It looks to have a very nice lens, obviously helped by some good light and the orange filter. The wall test shot on Flickr is quite impressive, all straight lines and a flat plane of sharp focus, though I expect it was stopped down a little.

Most were at f8 or f11. At least a couple were at f5.6.
