Hello all, I'm the lucky owner of a Nikon D70s and love it, mainly use it for automitive racing, shows and alike. I think Santa will get me a wide angle lens, I already have a 30-80 mm zoom and would like to get a 10-20 mm. Any recomendations on a reasonably priced one???Thanks for any help, Merry Christmas to all....

I use a 10-20 Sigma that I consider to be very good. It translates from 15-30 on full frame. I used it on two trips to Paris and then to NYC and had wonderful results with it. It's not as expensive as the Nikkor version but it's not cheap. Used ones out there are fairly reasonable.

CV SL II 20mm f3.5 would be my choice. You might check the classifieds for one or two.

Real Men Shoot Film.
20mm on a D70 is not very wide, equal to a 30mm on a fullframe camera. He wants the 10-20mm for a reason. Its equal to a 15-30mm zoom on a fullframe camera.

I can really recommend the tokina 12-24. Great lens.

What Chris said. Little sensors don't do wide with ordinary wide angle lenses.

Get the Tokina 12-24, cheapest and best wide angle you can get (for the price)
