Lens help, what would be simmilar to this ?

And then its time to replace what i managed to damage and stupidly throw away some years ago. And I miss it .. Of-course i could just buy a equal one, if´d use Nikon slrs.
So whats the point of searching for a simple solution? 😀

Nikkor H 50mm 2,0 is the item, plain 50mm made somewhere in the early 60 or so.
Quite soft at 2.0 , ok at 5,6. Attached photos are taken with FM, XP-2 at 200 and with a green filter, some adjustments at levels. Filename tells f stop.
And yes its supposed to fit on a M6 in some way.

The Nikkor 50/2 was originally a rangefinder lens, and is still available in Nikkor Rf mount or Leica Screwmount.

Nikkor-H 5cm F2 (Sonnar copy) in Leica Thread Mount is on Ebay quite often, sells in the $200 range for a good example. I use one on my Nikon S2 Rangefinder, it is in S-Mount.

The 5cm F1.4 Nikkor (also Sonnar) gives an extra stop with equivalent performance; Canon 50mm F1.5 is also a Sonnar copy. T

The Leitz Summarit 5cm F1.5 also gives that soft effect used wide-open, gives lower contrast than the Sonnar copies.

In addition to the above, there are also the Jupiter 3 FSU lens and Contax Sonnar 50/1.5, or in F2, the Jupiter 8, and corresponding Contax Sonnar 50/2. These are available in LTM (or Contax/Kiev) mount.

Brian, is the 50/1.4 Nikkor SLR lens still a Sonnar design?

The SLR lens is not a Sonnar. Nor is the "Olympic Version" of the 5cm f1.4 RF lens that came out in '64 for the updated S3, nor the current version for the S3-2000 and SP-2005. Those last RF versions share the same formula as the Canon 50mm F1.2 and Canon 50mm F0.95.

So if I have got i right its several options, and I guess the jupiter is the most budget friendly option . . is it just that simple ?
